Premium subscribers are currently paying $ 11.99 per month for an ad-free experience on the YouTube platform. As part of the beta test, Premium users receive either a $ 2 Super Chat credit or two 99-cent credits. The latter can be divided into two separate livestreamers on YouTube.
Super Chat credits will update each month for the duration of the beta test.
The Super Chat Free Credit Beta Test is very similar to a program put in place by one of YouTube's main competitors, . Amazon's streaming video streaming platform currently provides Amazon Prime subscribers with a free subscription to Twitch Prime. With exclusive games , Twitch Prime members receive a free $ 4.99 monthly subscription to their favorite Twitch partner.
YouTube recently made the decision to distribute all of its eleven exclusive programs to Premium to all users of the platform. Although the ad-free experience is still a huge bonus for Premium members, it seems that YouTube is currently experimenting with granting additional bonuses to its paying subscribers in order to keep them paid.
