Samsung's latest business program, the Galaxy Fit, is now available from Samsung. website for $ 99.99. The device is available in two colors, black or silver, and has a 0.95 inch AMOLED display; at 120mAh battery; 2 MB of RAM; 32 MB of storage; and pairs with phones via Bluetooth. It also resists water and follows the heartbeat.
Although Samsung has recently focused on its smart watches, the idea behind the Fit is to bring a more robust follow-up to the minimalist fitness group. The Fit can track up to 90 exercises, six of which can automatically detect exercises such as walking, running, elliptical, cycling, rowing and dynamic workouts. It will also track sleep and health goals via the Samsung Health app and should last up to a week with a single charge. Generally speaking, this is a simple physical follower that promises nothing out of the norm. Engadget tested the device and was "impressed" by its tracking capabilities, noting that the screen was responsive and easy to navigate.
If you are looking for a physical activity monitor rather than a complete smart watch, it may be worth checking out your Fit.
