The different tools for writing on a PowerPoint
The most important part of the Draw tab relates to the different types of pencils, pens and markers available.
Depending on the type you choose, the line will be different and, of course, you can configure the thickness or color, from which you can choose between the 15 predefined or use a fully customized template.
To change the tool, just select it on the tape. Once selected, you can press it again to display the options menu on which you can adjust the settings of thickness or color. In addition, when you change the settings, you will see a preview of the layout.
If you need to use different colors or thicknesses when taking notes or writing freehand, you can configure several tools of the same type. To do this, click Add Pencil and select the type of tool you need.
Once added, simply select it and display the options menu to adjust the colors, line thickness or effects. By doing this the configurations will be saved and to switch from one to the other, you only have to select the tool you need at any time. inside the PowerPoint ribbon.
In the draft section, you can also select several different options: lines, segments, and size. The eraser allows you to erase the complete lines of any drawing tool and the draft segments accurately remove the parts of these features.
Transform shapes, text, or math operations into PowerPoint forms
Another very useful feature is convert a text, a form or a mathematical operation into a native form of PowerPoint.
To use these options, you must enter what you want to turn into an Office freehand form with the pen. When you have it, select the part (s) that you want to transform with the Pencil input tool into text, from pencil to form or pencil into math, and then click on the Convert icon. In this way, the freehand layout will be converted into a native Office form that you can modify with the usual tools: modify the text, change the colors, change the size, etc., etc.
